This past weekend, RTR competed at the Wisconsin State Championship. Our team performed extremely well, ending qualification matches ranked 9th out of 36 teams. When alliance selection came around, we were picked as the first robot for Alliance 5, captained by Team 4786 Nicolet FEAR, competing alongside Team 706 Cyberhawks.

In playoffs, we put up a good fight and made it all the way to Match 13 before being eliminated. We are super proud of how we played and the progress we showed against such tough competition.

Off the field, Payton and Adri were nominated for and won the Safety All-Star Award, recognizing all the work they’ve put into making safety a priority for our team.

We also received the Innovation in Control Award–our second time earning it this season after winning it at Appleton–which reflects all the effort that went into our robot’s design and programming.

Finally, the most important part– we qualified for the FIRST Robotics World Championship! Earning our spot through district points. We finished 5th in the state with 264 points.

The World Championship is coming up on the 29th, and RTR is gearing up. Thank you to all of our sponsors, families, and mentors who helped us along the way! Traveling to worlds is very expensive for our team, so if you or your business would like to support our journey, more information is available on our website.
