Team 1792, Round Table Robotics, had an exciting and successful showing at our most recent competition, the Wisconsin State Championship. Representing Oak Creek High School, our team competed in six qualification matches, demonstrating our robot Barracuda and putting our cheering skills to use.

Thanks to the dedication of our drive team, pit crew, and scouting alliance, we performed well, finishing the qualification rounds ranked 3rd overall. Our performance earned us the opportunity to be the captain of Alliance 3 during the playoff rounds. We proudly selected Team 8744, the Leviathans, and Team 2830, the Riverside Robotigers, to join our alliance. It was incredibly fun competing alongside these teams, and together, we brought strong energy, adaptability, and strategy to the elimination matches.

Ultimately, this resulted in our advancement to the Finals. In the finals, we competed in two matches and were eliminated. While we were eliminated, we are still incredibly proud of our performance, and we left the competition with a Finalist’s banner and a Judges' award, going 4-6 in playoffs, and finishing as runner-up.

This competition marked a significant step forward for Round Table Robotics. Each subsystem has been tested, improved, and reworked with input from our students, ensuring we compete at the highest levels. Behind the scenes, our business, media, and outreach teams have also been at work maintaining our presence and helping keep people connected to our journey. We are proud to have represented our school and community with gracious professionalism and enthusiasm towards robotics.

We owe much of our success to the incredible support of our sponsors, mentors, and families. Your belief in our mission makes it possible for us to keep learning, building, and competing. Whether it’s through donations, support, or the volunteering of time and expertise, every contribution helps fuel our team.

As we continue the year, we are gearing up for three exciting upcoming off-season events—Mukwonago Robotics Offseason Competition, the Leviathan Robotics Rampage, and TWIST, an all-female competition the —where we’ll have the opportunity to compete with other teams and make new memories. We can’t wait to show you what's next!
