Is it over?

Round Table Robotics competed at the LAST Wisconsin Regional, presented by GE HealthCare, at the State Fair Park Expo Center last weekend. As Wisconsin transitions to the district model next year, events will be hosted at high schools, reducing travel costs. The robot and drive team performed well, finishing 16th out of 47 in qualification matches. We were the first pick of the 6th Alliance and, along with Teams 1625 and 2704, reached the finals, placing second overall. Our robot, Barracuda, was recognized with the Quality Award for its durable design and robust fabrication.

Each year, Round Table Robotics selects two students as DEAN’s List Award Semi-Finalists. These students exemplify leadership, promote FIRST and its values like Inclusion and Gracious Professionalism®, and reflect the diversity of the FIRST community. This year, Jackson and Daria were chosen. We are thrilled that Daria was named one of Wisconsin Regional FINALISTS and will compete at Championships in Houston next week for the FIRST Dean’s List Award.

In the time it has taken to write this BLOG, we learned we have earned enough points to qualify for the 2025 FIRST® Championship in Houston, Texas next week. Stay tuned for more information. Please consider donating to help cover the cost of the trip.
