Day One review, Land, Set Up, Inspect and Practice, and Pizza.

The students landed in Houston at around 9am for the start of a long first day at Champs. Our equipment made it off the truck and as soon as the students arrived it was ready for assembly

Our pit assembles super easy and the kids had it ready to go in a matter of minutes.

Every robot has to pass a detailed inspection, and with our team building s new robot for this event we were all a little nervous, but we sailed through inspection without a hitch and we quickly have our gold inspection sticker.

By the time we passed inspection, everyone was at the George R Brown center for some seminars and quality time on the practice field.

We got one official practice match and we demonstrated the ability to efficiently score notes in the amp as well as the speaker. We are now ready for a full day of qualification matches in Thursday and Friday. Check out the live stream at www.thebluealliance.com.

The night ended around 9pm with some pizza to cap off about an 18 hour day. Now it is lights out so we are ready for all the excitement tomorrow will bring.

Tune in same time on Friday for a recap of Thursday's Texas adventure.
